Fall Survival Hike & Potomac River Campout- River and Trail Outfitters

 

Who: Girl Scout Brownies through Girl Scout Ambassadors

Where:  River & Trail Outfitters & Brunswick Family Campground

This guided hike by River and Trail Outfitters teaches you the skills you need to survive if you get lost in the woods. True stories will be shared about survival in the wild. We will talk about pre-hike planning by going over various survival gear and techniques, learn how to purify water, manufacture pure water, and build a real debris hut to help you survive your first night in style. The hiking trip will take place in the Harpers Ferry area in Maryland, Virginia or West Virginia. Tent camping on Potomac River in Brunswick, MD included Friday night.
