World Thinking Day 2011

Looking for a way to celebrate World Thinking Day?

Girl Scout Daisies and Brownies in grades K-3 are invited to participate in Girl Scout and Girl Guide exploration, dancing, crafts and games inspired by countries around the world!

Girls will rotate through stations, learning about the cultures and customs of different countries and their Girl Scout programs, and making crafts to swap.

Cost is $9 per girl and includes supplies as well as a participation fun patch. Event activities fulfill requirements for four Brownie Try-Its: Dancercize, People of the World, Brownie Girl Scouts Around the World and Playing Around the World, which can be purchased on your own through the GSCNC shop. (Girls will receive a certicificate of completion with the Try-It requirements noted.)

This event will be offered twice: 9:30am-12:30pm  and  1:30pm-4:30pm.
(Girls should only sign up for one!)
Both sessions will take place at Bull Run Middle School in Gainesville, VA on Saturday, Feb. 26
