Choose one of two options to complete in this one day program.  Choose between Geology Rocks Patch and Going Batty Badge (from the GS of
Southern Illinois Council).  Geology Rocks is a fun-filled program where girls perform rock tests, go on a fossil hunt, and test soil.  Going Batty teaches girls about the importance of bats in ecosystems where they live. Play a game, create a poster, and make a craft that will help remind scouts and others, to be good neighbors to bats everywhere. Each troop will build a bat house to put up in their community. This event includes a presentation about cave conservation, cave animals, and cavern formation. The highlight of your trip will be touring TWO beautiful crystal caverns.

Fees: $16
