Important Announcement from GSCNC President Diane Tipton

Dear Friends,

I am writing to let you know that Jan Verhage, who has been our Executive Director for nearly 25 years, has accepted the position of Chief Operating Officer of Girl Scouts of the USA.  Her letter to the Board, and indeed to the entire Girl Scout Family, can be downloaded below. The Board will officially accept Jan's resignation in March and will, at that time, form a Search Committee to find her replacement.  Jan will be with us for the next several months and will have a chance to say goodbye to many of us at the Annual Meeting in April.  We will keep you posted on efforts to find Jan's replacement.  In the meantime, we thank you for all you continue to do for Girl Scouting.
