Girl Scouts Will Participate in STEM Festival on Mall

Join us at the USA Science and Engineering Festival

October 23 and 24, 2010, 10am-5:30pm

National Mall between 1stand 7th Streets

This is a free event!

Come explore a two-day Expo on the National Mall that will provide K-12 students the opportunity to explore all facets of science and engineering through more than 1000 free, hands-on science activities, and over 40 stage shows featuring science celebrities, musicians, jugglers, magicians and much more.

To earn a Girl Scout Participation Patch follow one of the recommended thematic "tracks" outlined on the USA Science & Engineering website. Choose between robotics, green technologies, chemistry, nanotechnology, energy and others or create your own track of 10 activities to align with the focus of your troop activities. Girls will obtain one stamp per completed activity along the path and will end at the Girl Scout Council of the Nation's Capital Booth to receive their patch.

Don't miss this great opportunity to learn all about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
