Serving Our Community Archives Girl Scout Troop 1780 Complete their "Rescue Bear Project" Troop 1953 Girl Scouts Brought Cheer to Shelter Residents Members of multilevel Troop 2568, SU 51-7, recently prepared and served dinner to families participating in Fairfax County's Nurturing Parent Program at the Southgate Community Center in Reston Troop 6593 enjoyed helping pick vegtables to help Food For Others- Harvest for the Hungry. Troop 2325 helped clean up at local colonial farm "Claude Moore" in McLean, VA. Troop 2492 collected hats, gloves and scarves for Angel Watch a shelter for Women and children. Troop 603 worked on their first service project, cleaning up the grounds of their school. Cadette Troop 5559 went caroling with pack 759 at Brooke Grove Rehab and Nursing Center in Olney, MD We will be featuring stories throughout the year featuring local Girl Scouts in the "Serving Our Community" Series.
