Girl Scout Gold AwardeesCelebrate at "In Your Honor" The prestigious Gold Award will be presented to 217 Girl Scouts from our Council at "In Your Honor," May 15 at Trinity Washington University. The Gold Award is the highest honor a Girl Scout can earn, symbolizing outstanding accomplishments in the areas of leadership, community service and advocacy. All of the projects completed this year will have a lasting and positive impact on our region.
Girl Scout Council awards 18 Graduating Seniors Gold Award Scholarships Eighteen graduating high school seniors will each receive a Girl Scout Gold Award Scholarship, an award of $1,000 to assist her with college expenses. The Gold Award is highly regarded by colleges and universities, the U.S. Armed Services and employers. Congratulations to all the girls.
