Georgetown Cupcake presents $21,000 to SHARE

On Thursday, June 2, Gold Award honorees from the classes of 2007 through 2011 gathered at Saks Fifth Avenue to celebrate their accomplishments with a recognition reception hosted by members of GSCNC's Women's Advisory Board. Sophie LaMontagne and Katherine Kallinis, owners of Georgetown Cupcake, were on hand to present a check for $21,000 to SHARE from the successful April sale of the Girl Scout Thin Mint Cupcake. As the guest speakers of the night, they shared inspirational advice with the girls on how to reach for your goals. The honorees also had the opportunity to listen to high-powered business women, all part of the GSCNC Women's Advisory Board, about their careers and the importance of networking.
