Local Girl Scouts Decorate National Cathedral

The Washington National Cathedral's plans A Call to Compassion, a special weekend of events and programming in commemoration of the tenth anniversary of September 11^th. As we approach the anniversary, the nation's spiritual home has planned an inspiring set of weekend events in full partnership with the 9-11 memorials in NYC, PA, and at the Pentagon.  The goal is to bring those communities and the nation together in commemorating the many lives lost, honoring those who served in the wake of the tragedy, and moving forward with great hope into the future. 

Girl Scouts from around the area are busy creating decorations for the National Cathedral. Girl Scout Troop 2325 sent in some pictures of the girls making the golden loops.
