100th Anniversary Girl Scout Interfaith Service Join the Girl Scout Council of the Nation's Capital and 2,500 of your closest Girl Scout friends to celebrate 100 years of Girl Scouting. The 100th Anniversary Girl Scout Interfaith Service will be led by girls and religious leaders from various faiths, with a keynote address from the most Reverend Dr. Katherine Jefferts Schori, Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church. Girls who have earned the new Girl Scout religious award: My Promise, My Faith, will be recognized at the service. A kick off event for girls to complete the first step of this award will take place on January 29, 2012 at the GSCNC DC office. Tickets will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis. Please remember that while this is a free Girl Scout event, seating is limited.
