Earth Hour

On March 31, 2012 at 8:30 p.m., Earth Hour will celebrate a worldwide commitment to ongoing change for the betterment of the one thing that unites us all - the planet. Earth Hour encourages individuals and families to turn off their lights for one hour to take a stand against climate change. 

This year Girl Scouts Forever Green challenges all Girl Scouts to participate in Earth Hour, showing that they too believe in a greener world and a better tomorrow! As with the plastic waste challenge, Girl Scouts will be able to let us know if they participated in Earth Hour through an online survey.  Let's work together as a council to show the rest of the world that GSCNC cares about green issues!
