On September 29, 2012, GSCNC held the 3rd Environmental Leadership Institute. Over 100 attendees participated in exciting program sessions such as Moving Field Guides with Dance Exchange, water and soil testing lead by volunteers from the Northern Virginia Water and Soil Conservation District, and explored the possibilities of reimagining the infrastructure of our country for the year 2040. The Girl Scout Cadettes had the opportunity to participate in a Silver Award workshop and left ELI prepared to do green Take Action projects in their communities.
