Drop in to listen to a story about a person who has influenced American history and culture and to create a special piece of art. Today, learn about Juliette Gordon Low (1860-1927), who founded the Girl Scouts. (For ages 5 and up with adult)

2pm- Happy Birthday Juliette Gordon Low!: Art a la Cart

Learn the stories behind the artwork with interactive carts in the galleries that engage kids, ages seven to twelve, with brushes and palettes, bison horns and hides, bottle caps, and quilt squares.

In honor of Juliette Gordon Low birthday, all Girl Scouts who complete all cart activities will receive a free American Art Museum patch.
Pick up your Art à la Cart passport at information desks in F Street and G Street lobbies.
