Girl Scouts Get the Scoop- Day at the Newseum The Newseum offers an exciting look at the role journalism plays in society. Girl Scouts navigate the museum's displays and interactive exhibits, which chronicle hundreds of years of news history and the power of the freedom of speech.
When:Saturday, February 16. 2013 Who: Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors Cost is $8 per person and includes museum entry and a pass allowing access to special tours, games, presentations and craft activities, with an emphasis on the role of women in the news, the impact of youth leaders and the Girl Scouts. An optional patch can be purchased for $1 each.
