Soaring into the Next Century

Art Contest

 

The Girl Scout Council presents its 2013 Art Contest. The theme for the art contest is “ Soaring into the Next Century”.   Create a drawing, painting, or even graphic design featuring what you hope for Girl Scouts in the next 100 years.

Enter this year’s art contest and your art could be created into a mural in the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital DC Office and go on display at Girl Scout Council events throughout the year. 

Deadline: March 4, 2013

Rules:

-Contest is only open to registered Girl Scouts of GSCNC.

-You can submit as an individual or troop.

-Your artwork must include the artist’s name, age, city, state, and Service Unit, email, phone number and troop leader’s information.

-Your artwork must be no larger than 28in. x 28in.

-Finalists will be notified that they made it to the top.

-Artwork not chosen as a finalist will not be returned, unless otherwise arranged for pickup.

-Artwork will be based on its creativity and representation of “Soaring into the Next Century”.
