Keys to Leadership-Adult Inclusion Training

Keys to Leadership – “Facing Your Fear Factor,” Adult Inclusion Session; Saturday, March 8, 2014

Including children with disabilities in Girl Scouts can sometimes seem quite challenging, but nothing is more rewarding than witnessing a girl make a friend, enjoy a game or experience an accomplishment. This highly–interactive workshop will allow participants to face the fears involved in inclusion (I wasn’t trained for this! I don’t know what to do! I don’t know anything about that disability!) through activities designed to promote an understanding of inclusion and how to support children with disabilities. The training will also address the best ways to support all behavior.

The training will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at American University from 1-4 p.m. The cost of the training is FREE!
