Congressional Aide Visibility Day On February 27, 2013 Girl Scout Seniors and Ambassadors met on Capitol Hill for Girl Scout Council of the Nation's Capital Congressional Aide Visibility Day. The Girl Scouts went door-to-door in the Rayburn, Longworth, and Cannon House office buildings, meeting with staff to discuss the Congressional Aide program. The program offers Girl Scouts in the 11th and 12th grades the opportunity to spend a week in a congressional office. The Girl Scouts ran into Girl Scout CEO Anna Maria Chavez, who was also visiting Capitol Hill today.
