"Cliques" video spreads anti-bullying message

Nation’s Capital Girl Scout wins GSUSA’s PSA Contest

Hannah, a senior Girl Scout from Chantilly, VA, has won GSUSA’s "Girl Scouts Speak Out!" public service announcement contest. This nationwide competition encourages girls to create videos about important issues.

Hannah’s video, "Cliques," features 15 of her friends portraying the common occurrences of gossip, bullying, and cliques in school. The video encourages girls to be welcoming and kind to each other, because "there is strength in numbers" to stand up to bullies and exclusive cliques.
