Girl Scouts Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

September 15 – October 15 is National Hispanic Heritage Month. Americans observe this month in celebration of the history, culture, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans. Did you know Lidia Soto-Harmon, CEO of Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital is a Latina? Lidia is the daughter of Cuban immigrants, born in the USA and raised in Ecuador and El Salvador. Lidia shares her mother’s journey to America and how her mother has inspired her on our blog.
