Cookie College

At Howard University

On Saturday, December 7, 2013, Girl Scouts attended Cookie College at Howard University to earn their diploma in everything cookies. They learned about the business of selling, the history of Girl Scout cookies, how to make a pitch, manage money and important lessons on marketing.

The Brownie and Junior Cookie College program has proven to increase troops' cookie sales dramatically.

If you were not able to attend Cookie College Main Campus, don’t worry. New this year, the Council will be piloting a Cookie College To-Go program for Girl Scouts on the Service Unit level. With Cookie College To-Go, volunteers will be provided with the same programming as Cookie College Main Campus in order to set up their own Satellite Cookie College Campus in their community. Please contact your Service Unit Cookie Manager if you and your girls are interested in having a Cookie College in your area.
