One Great New Council!

On Sunday, October 18, girls from the former Shawnee Council and from Girl Scout Council of the Nation's Capital crossed a ceremonial bridge at Camp Potomac Woods to symbolize the transition to "One Great New Council."  The fun-filled afternoon featured a sing-a-long of Girl Scout songs, camp food, and games. Girl Scouts and their families crossed the bridge, led by Diane Tipton, GSCNC President, and Berniece Collis, former President of Shawnee Council, where they received a daisy flower and a special patch.
