Volunteer Letter Campaign

CALL TO ACTION: Board approves remaining construction funds for two troop lodges at Camp Brighton Woods. Please help us and write a letter of support to the Governor of Maryland and the Montgomery County, County Executive.

Attached are the draft letters you can send in support of state/county funding for construction of two troop lodges at Brighton Woods. We have already invested $600,000 getting the site ready for building - and have just approved up to $900,000 for construction. We are asking the State of Maryland and Montgomery County for $350,000 each to support this project.

To make this easy for all of you we have attached instructions and two "draft" letters of support. It should be self explanatory, but if you have questions, please contact Sharon Gleason directly at sgleason@gscnc.org.
