Women in STEM

During the month of March the Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital will be highlighting over 30 women in
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) careers.
GSCNC and the STEM Action Team recognize the importance of mentors and role models, particularly for young women, and through this special feature we hope to connect you with women whose journey in STEM started as an interest in a class at school, a book from the library, or even Girl Scouting, and turned into a career!
With these fantastic women as inspiration, we hope you will feel empowered to pursue careers in STEM and know that you can do anything you put your mind to!
