Registered members of Girl Scouts Nation's Capital have first priority of campsites. Our camps are only to be used by Girl Scouts. If you are a Girl Scout troop from another Council, please contact camping services at camp@gscnc.org. Based on availability, we will try to place you. Reservations open exactly 3 months in advance at the exact time the reservation begins. Overnight reservations begin at 3 PM. Happy Camping!

Camp Aquasco is nestled in the woods in scenic Aquasco, Maryland in Prince George’s County. Spanning 172 acres, the camp features an open field for primitive camping on the primitive side, and a lodge and glen shelter unit on the north side. Get moving with your troop hiking the trails, performing at the amphitheater or making s’mores over an open fire pit.

Camp Brighton Woods in Brookeville, Maryland, Montgomery County includes 60 acres of rustic wooded land. The camp features heated lodges, kitchen and glen shelters.
Camp Brighton Woods has archery, tomahawk, and slingshot ranges, a large field for games, amphitheater, and nearby Brighton Dam offers opportunities for kayaking.

Camp Coles Trip in Stafford, Virginia, is on the shores of the Aquia Creek and spans 229 wooded acres. Aquia sandstone was taken from quarries in the area to be used in the construction of the Capitol Building and the White House. The camp features lodges, glen shelters, platform tents, covered wagons and a primitive unit. Camp Coles Trip has two sides, Aquia and Arrowhead, accessible by a long hike or vehicle.
Camp Coles Trip has beach access on the Aquia side of camp and offers kayaking and canoeing. There is also an archery range on the Aquia side of camp, and tomahawk and slingshot ranges on both sides for troops to use. Please note: the cots and mattresses are only located on the Aquia side, not the Arrowhead side of camp.

Camp Crowell, located in Oakton, Virginia, covers 68 wooded acres in Fairfax County. The camp features a large lodge, two smaller troop lodges, glen shelter units, adirondacks, treehouses, and multiple primitive sites.
Camp Crowell has a low and high ropes course (available for reservation on select weekends in the spring and fall, see High Adventure at our Camps for more information), a tomahawk and slingshot range, and a large field that can be used for games or archery.

Camp May Flather, in Mount Solon, Virginia, sits on 50 beautifully wooded acres in the George Washington National Forest. The camp, named after May Flather, a friend of Lou Henry Hoover (First Lady and wife of President Herbert Hoover), has been enjoyed by Girl Scouts since it was built in 1930. The North River runs directly through the center of camp. The camp features lodges, platform tent and glen shelter units, a large open green, and hiking trails into the National Forest.
Camp May Flather features high adventure activities along with traditional camping. It has an archery, slingshot, and tomahawk range, challenge course, climbing tower and canoeing/kayaking opportunities at nearby Elkhorn or Todd Lakes.

Camp Potomac Woods is located in Leesburg, Virginia, 101 acres of varied terrain means tons of amazing activities for Girl Scouts. The property features glen shelters, lodges, hammocks, and a primitive site.
Camp Potomac Woods has a sports field, hiking trails, and archery, tomahawk, and slingshot ranges. Girls can also fish from the dock that goes out over the Potomac River, and learn about nature while enjoying the River Walk.

Camp White Rock is spread out over 130 beautiful acres in Capon Bridge, West Virginia. The camp features lodges, glen shelters, platform tents, treehouses, covered wagons, hammocks and primitive sites as well as hiking trails.
Camp White Rock has a sports field with a basketball court and a sand volleyball pit. The Cacapon River allows for canoeing and kayaking and the camp also features archery, tomahawk, and slingshot ranges. Camp White Rock also has a high ropes aerial course that is available for troop reservation on select weekends in the spring and fall (see High Adventure at our Camps for more info) and a small low ropes course.

Girl Scout Camp Winona is a member of the American Camp Association and has achieved accreditation status, by completing a voluntary peer review process of standards applicable to our program. Accreditation means that camp undergoes a thorough review process by outside camping professionals every three years.
Camp Winona in Hughesville, Maryland, offers girls so many exciting ways to experience nature. The camp covers 178 beautiful acres featuring lodges, glen shelter units and open fields.
Camp Winona has archery, tomahawk, and slingshot ranges, and Trefoil Pond for canoeing and kayaking. There are many trails for girls to explore the geological history of the camp.
