Day and evening camps are run by an all-volunteer staff that works tirelessly year-round to plan and prepare fantastic programming. Campers in grades K-12 attend during the day (or evening), go home each night, and return the next day. Girl Scout parents & guardians can attend camp too, as volunteers, and experience camp with their campers! Camps range from one to two weeks and serve anywhere from 60 to 350 campers. There are outdoor camps, indoor camps, camps with overnights, and much more. The camper fees charged for each camp cover the cost of all camp expenses, which is why sometimes these camps are known as fee-funded camps.

COVID-19 SUMMER 2020 UPDATE: all in-person Girl Scout activities through August 14th are suspended and all sleep away, day, and evening camp programs are canceled for the summer 2020 season.
Even though in-person activities are suspended and traditional camp experiences are canceled, we are still offering virtual programming opportunities. Please visit Girl Scouts at Home for at-home program activities, and contact your service unit to register for virtual troop meetings. Each volunteer-led camp is different, so your camp director may be in touch with more information about any individual camp-specific virtual activities. We hope that you stay involved in your camp community and stay safe and healthy throughout this challenging time. We look forward to seeing you at camp in the summer 2021!
