Things to Do at Camp

Core Camping

Core Camps are fun weekends at a camp designed and organized by volunteers and teens. Core Camps give troops the opportunity to go camping and not worry about food or what activities to do when they get there! A schedule of Core Camps is listed in our events section.

Service Unit Encampments

Service Unit Encampments are a great way to connect with other troops in your community. Service Unit Encampment dates are available for the Fall, Spring, and Summer each year.

Applications are now open for Fall 2019 Encampments! Click here for the application. Applications are due April 1, 2019.

White Rock Summer Rental

Camp White Rock is available for summer rentals to large groups. Placement preference will be given to groups of 75 or more. While at Camp White Rock, your group can take advantage of everything the camp has to offer including canoeing, archery, low ropes course and the swimming pool. Dudley Hall is available to provide food service for large groups.

Encampment placements have been made for the 2019 summer season at Camp White Rock. Please check back in the fall for the summer 2020 application.

White Rock High Adventure

Troop reservations for Camp White Rock high adventure course (Fall 2017) opens on June 2 on the troop camping reservation system Double Knot.

  • Like all Double Knot camp reservations, you can reserve the course and if desired a campsite 90 days out.
