Kits and Patches

Planning fun and interesting activities for Girl Scout troop meetings, service unit events, or even while camping takes time. Fortunately, our program kits make Girl Scouting easier for new leaders and those who have been in Girl Scouting for many years. The kits are designed to enhance the Girl Scout Leadership Experience by providing hands-on activities that help girls earn badges, Journey awards, and patches. Each kit contains directions along with resources and the non-consumable items needed to complete the activities. Program kits can be requested and picked up at a Council office near you. Use the links below to learn more about the kits offered and to request one for your troop

Explore Camp Patch Program
For All Girl Scout Levels
The Explore Camp Patch Program encourages Girl Scouts to explore the outdoors, take part in Girl Scout traditions, and discover the unique features of each of our eight camp properties. Girl Scouts completing this patch program will hone their eight basic outdoor skills, which help improve outdoor literacy and support positive, environmentally-friendly outdoor experiences. Visit the Explore Camp Patch Program page to learn more.
Girls love to earn badges and Journey awards they can display on their uniforms. But that’s not all–there are patches too! Patches can celebrate a troop activity like a trip to the skating rink or a sleepover in the leader’s basement. Girls can also earn patches by completing programs unique to our Council: explore the Nation’s Capital, learn about African-Americans in Congress, or how to be safe when outdoors in the sun. Upon completion of the program, girls can purchase the patch from our Shop. Girls from any Council are welcome to participate and order their patches from our Council Shop.
