Community based camps
Girl Scout community-based camps are offered throughout the region during school spring and summer breaks. These camps provide non – Girl Scout members with a safe and fun place to learn about our Girl Scout traditions and programs. Public Schools
With support from the District of Columbia Schools, Girl Scout troops are expanding in some of the lowest performing schools in the District of Columbia. The Girl Scout model engages teachers, parents and the community to provide Girl Scouts with a safe space to explore their interests and grow in confidence.
