Juliette Gordon Low was the first to leave a planned gift to the Girl Scouts – she gifted her home to serve as the first headquarters.
In her honor, our Council began the Juliette Low Legacy Society 20 years ago, to celebrate our Girl Scout Family who leaves a legacy to Girl Scouts through a planned gift, which can be an easy process.
Today, our Council’s 31 founding members has grown to over 180! We would be honored to add your name to our prestigious list of planned giving donors.
By joining the Juliette Low Legacy Society, you are ensuring future generations of Girl Scouts in this region. Your gift can help countless Girl Scouts realize their dreams and develop to their full potential in their chosen fields.
Making a planned gift to Girl Scouts can include naming Girl Scouts as the beneficiary of any of the following:
Will
Retirement plan
Charitable gift annuity
Living trust
Donor-advised fund
Life insurance policy
Charitable remainder trust
Charitable lead trust
Remainder gift of real estate
Any other gift that benefits Girl Scouts in the future
