Sleep Away Camp
Yes, If your camper will be bringing medication to camp, a parent/guardian must complete the Bringing Medication to Camp form on CampDoc, and a copy must be brought to camp along with the medications. All medications, except for emergency medications, must be stored in the camp health center and administrated under medical supervision. Emergency medications are always kept with a counselor, in the unit first-aid kit, with the camper. Medication times are directly after breakfast and lunch, before dinner, and at bedtime, unless otherwise directed.
Each camp health center stocks the following over-the-counter medications which are used on an as needed basis to manage unexpected minor illnesses and injuries that occur while at camp. If your camper takes any of these medications daily, please bring these medications.
Day and Evening Camp
At day and evening camp, we have a limited ability to administer medications. Emergency medications are always kept with a staff member, in the unit first-aid kit, with the camper. Please contact us a head of time if you have concerns.
