There’s a camp and outdoors experience for every Girl Scout—from stargazing and discovering wildlife to rock-wall climbing and archery. Camp is an amazing experience that will stay with Your Girl Scout long after the last embers of the campfire have faded away. We can’t wait to help start your camper’s summer adventure!

8:00AM Head to the Dining hall for the morning flag ceremony and breakfast.

9:00AM Meet with your unit to make friendship bracelets for all your new friends.

10:30AM Learn about the local wildlife on a morning hike.

12:00PM Talk about what you’re excited to do next at lunch back in the Dining hall.

1:00PM Have an afternoon Siesta

2:00PM Cool down by the pool.

4:00PM Practice your aim at target sports

5:30PM Catch up with your camp friends at Dinner

6:30PM Reflect on your favorite parts of the day around a campfire

8:30PM Prepare for bed and get ready to do it again the next day!

Who can attend Girl Scout Camp?

Girl Scout fun doesn’t have to end in June, Girl Scouts can challenge themselves and try new things at Girl Scout Camp this summer. Girl Scouts is about sharing the fun, friendship, and the inherent power of girls and women in an inclusive, supportive, girl-led environment. Any girl- from kindergarten through 12th grade- can join Girl Scouts and attend camp. Additionally, if a family with a child of any other gender identity and expression (other than cisgender males) feels that Girl Scouting is the right community for them, they are welcome at Girl Scout Camp.

How to Register

Sleep Away Camp registration is done by lottery. In the lottery, you’ll be able to indicate what programs your camper is interested in and if placement with a buddy or sibling is preferred. Placement emails will include a link to register your camper for the program they have been placed in. After the lottery is done, remaining spaces will be open for general registration.

Day and Evening Camp registration varies by camp, some are first come first served, others are by lottery.

Remember, campers must register for the program units based on the grade they are currently in for the 2022-2023 school year. Financial assistance is available.

January 31: Sleep Away Camp Lottery Closes

February 14: General Registration Opens for any remaining Sleep Away Camp Spaces

February 20: Registration Opens for Virginia Day and Evening Camps

February 21: Registration Opens for Camp Tag-A-Long

February 22: Registration opens for Maryland Day and Evening Camps.
