Welcome Girl Scouts of the Nation's Capital!
Destination Imagination Virginia is hosting an Instant Challenge Tournament just for you! Scouts of all ages and grades will participate in a competition designed to develop, as well as celebrate, their ability to think quickly, work collaboratively, and solve problems enthusiastically. They will do this through creatively solving Instant Challenges; these are small, outcome-oriented projects that teams learn about, design for, and execute within the span of roughly five minutes.
When teams are not directly solving Instant Challenges, they will be participating in STEAM workshops.
The Instant Challenge Tournament is Saturday, February 7th, 2026, from 8:00am to 2:00pm at Frederick County Middle School, located at 4661 N Frederick Pike, Winchester, VA 22603. Attendance is completely free, and all scouts will receive a patch for attending the tournament.
Please register your troop today. Space is limited. Upon registration, you will be given information on how you can prepare your Scouts for this fun tournament.
