Now, maybe more than ever, media plays an important role in our lives. It’s a way to communicate and stay in touch, even at a distance. It can also influence in ways obvious and not-so-obvious. Using the collection of the Stabler-Leadbeater Apothecary Museum, we’ll explore media, its effect on us, and how we can use media to make our own voices heard. Pre-event survey and evening activities complete the monitor award and begin the influence and cultivate awards. As an overnight, program begins and ends at Gadsby's Tavern Museum. Girls will show the PSA they create to Junior Girl Scouts also spending the night as they work towards completing their journey.
