Lincoln Caverns

Go Batty at Lincoln Caverns! Brownie Girl Scouts will learn why bats are an important part of our ecological system and, unfortunately, also very misunderstood. Discover which bats live in your neighborhood and be challenged to think about how you can be a better neighbor to bats. Girls will make a recycled bat craft and use their creativity to make a poster to educate others about the importance of bats. Girl Scout Juniors will be participating in the Animal Habitats Badge. Girls will learn about endangered and invasive species, delve into the underground habitat of caves, and build a bat house (1 per troop) to put up in their neighborhood. All participants will enjoy the highlight of the trip by touring TWO beautiful crystal caverns.

Fee: $24.00/person Brownie Program and $28.00/person Junior Program

Location: Lincoln Caverns, 7703 William Penn Highway, Huntingdon, PA 16652
