This instructor-led program blends essential safety education with interactive games and hands-on role-playing activities. You will leave with the practical skills, confidence, and certification needed to be a premier caregiver in your community.
What You Will Learn and Practice:
Safety and Emergency Preparedness: Learn how to identify and prevent unsafe situations. You will master specific protocols for handling power failures, severe weather emergencies, and other potential household hazards.
Child Care and Development: Dive into the "ages and stages" of child development. Get practical, hands-on experience in behavior management and essential infant care skills, including diapering.
