All Kids Welcome: Babysitting Children with Special Needs is a 60-minute advanced babysitting course for experienced sitters in grades 7 and up who want to confidently care for neurodivergent, disabled, and differently-abled children. Participants must have previously completed the Safe Sitter® Babysitting Course. In this class, girls will learn the right language to use with families, how to understand a range of special needs including autism, ADHD, sensory differences, and physical disabilities, how to prepare before every job by asking the eight key questions, and how to handle meltdowns using a proven step-by-step calming sequence. Families of children with special needs often spend months searching for a prepared, willing babysitter. After this course, your Scout will be exactly that — the one who gets called first and trusted completely.
