Join us on Saturday, September 14th, 2024 at the Library of Congress as Cadette Girl Scouts work towards achieving their Book Artist badge. Cadettes will explore items from the Library of Congress’ book collection, learn about conservation and bookbinding, create their own book and learn about the Thomas Jefferson Building of the Library of Congress. During this program Cadette Girl Scouts will complete all steps necessary to complete their Book Artist badge. This event is being offered in three sessions. Doors open 15 minutes before your registered event time and timely arrival is recommended to ensure all badge activities are completed.
Session 1: 10am-11:30am
Session 2: 12pm – 1:30pm
Session 3: 2pm – 3:30pm
