In this program, Brownies will explore the fascinating world of the internet and cybersecurity, learning essential skills to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly. They will discover how the internet connects people and devices globally, while understanding the importance of protecting personal information like names, addresses, and financial details to avoid harm. Brownies will learn how to create their online identity, recognise what information should stay private, and share data securely. They'll also develop critical thinking by learning to identify trustworthy sources online and practising online safety rules. Additionally, they'll put on their detective hats to solve digital puzzles, crack codes, investigate digital footprints, and explore how computer viruses and cyberattacks work. By the end, they will gain the knowledge and skills to protect themselves in the cyber world and spot potential problems with a keen investigative eye.
