VicTreeFi's Moneyville
Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts, run your own girl-led city! This is a live, virtual series that will run from June 9th - 30th. The council will meet every Sunday at 4pm Eastern for one hour. In this 4-week course, Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts will learn how to run their own girl-led city, Moneyville. Girl Scouts will serve on the town council and learn how to use the city’s money to ensure that the town continues to run successfully. This course will allow Girl Scouts to understand the importance of fiscal responsibility and the role that money plays in the broader world. The course will span four weeks and each session will last around one hour.
Junior Girl Scouts will earn the Democracy, Digital Leadership, and the My Money Plan badges. Cadette Girl Scouts will earn the Democracy, Digital Leadership, and My Money Habits badges. All Girl Scouts will earn the Moneyville patch.
This is a four-part series. We will meet weekly from 4pm to 5pm on the following dates:
June 9: 4pm
June 16: 4pm
June 23: 4pm
June 30: 4pm
Fee: $50 per Girl Scout
