The Washington Area Frisbee Club (WAFC) is debuting a brand new program: Day of Play! The goal is simple. Get kids of all ages out playing ultimate frisbee in a positive, low-stakes environment. This event is for anyone, whether you are looking to try a new sport or learn how to improve your skills. Come get outside, play ultimate, make new friends, and enjoy the final days of summer WAFC's Day of Play!
Never heard of ultimate? You're in the right place! Ultimate, or ultimate frisbee, is a team-based sport that combines elements of soccer, basketball, football, and lacrosse to create an exciting and action-packed experience. Notably, the sport has no referees. The sport is self-officiated and relies on players adhering to principles of sportsmanship and the Spirit of the Game to create a great experience for all players.
