Girl Scouts Nation's Capital will be the host Council for the highly anticipated 2026 Girl Scout Convention, in Washington D.C.
Every three years, delegates from every council across the nation
and USA Girl Scouts Overseas—our National Council—meet to discuss,
debate, and vote on issues important to the Girl Scout Movement and
elect national leaders for the next triennium.
In 2026,
alongside our convention, we will also celebrate the 250th anniversary
of the founding of the United States. What better place to host this
historic event than right here, in our nation's capital—a powerful
symbol of the diverse people who make up every corner of the country?
Similarly, the National Council Session brings together delegates from
across the entire Girl Scout Movement to discuss, debate, and shape
the future of Girl Scouts, making history in the process.
Hear from inspiring speakers like Space Gal Emily Calandrelli, meet Girl Scout book authors Sayantani DasGupta and Yamile Saied Méndez, and participate in interactive workshops, all while making memories and having a blast. Don’t miss the chance to feel a part of something bigger than yourself.
