YOU MUST COMPLETE THE ONLINE PORTION OF THIS TRAINING THROUGH THE USA ARCHERY WEBSITE PRIOR TO ATTENDING THE IN-PERSON SESSION. The online training takes about 4 hours, costs $40 and can be accessed through this link: https://www.usarchery.org/coaches/online-course-information/38360.

Part One: ONLINE - Can be taken at any time but must be completed in advance of the in-person session ($40)
Part Two: IN-PERSON (Camp Brighton Woods, MD) - May 1, 2026 (12:30pm-5:00pm) ($10) 

This training requires three separate registrations:

Registration for the course through gsEvents (what you are viewing now, saves your place in the in-person training) - $10

Registration and successful completion of the online course through USA Archery (4 hours) - $40

Registration for in-person skills training through USA Archery website (link to register will be sent in a later follow-up email* after you complete your registration in gsEvents) - $0

NOTE: You will not be able to register for the in-person session through USA Archery until you successfully complete the online class.

*The link will not be in your automatically-generated receipt that you receive after paying for the class - it will be a separate email.

Participants:

  • All three registrations must be completed to be able to attend and receive credit for the course.
  • The in-person portion will be outdoors. Please dress accordingly.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate children during the in-person training session.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Setup an archery range
  • Issue standard whistle commands and range rules
  • Identify different types of archery equipment
  • Coach shooters on the shooting process and correct archer's form
  • Complete your Slingshot training in the same Archery model in gsLearn
