Show your Girl Scout pride and march with Girl Scouts Nation's
Capital in the Pride Parade! This is an exciting opportunity for Girl
Scouts of all ages to come together and represent our Council as we
celebrate inclusion, community, and belonging. Participants will walk
the full parade route alongside fellow Girl Scouts, volunteers, staff,
and supporters while sharing the values of courage, confidence, and
character with the community.
Girl Scouts should be prepared to
walk the entire route and spend time outdoors in summer weather. We
encourage participants to wear their Girl Scout gear and bring plenty
of enthusiasm as we celebrate and support LGBTQ+ members, families,
and allies. Whether this is your first Pride event or you're a
returning participant, we hope you'll join us for this memorable
experience.
Additional event details, including arrival
time, location, and parade logistics, will be shared with registered
participants closer to the event date.
Location:
Starts at 14th & T St NW, heads south on 14th St to Pennsylvania Ave NW, ending at 9th St NW.
