Board and Nominating Commitee
Thank you for your interest in the Girl Scouts Nation's Capital Board of Directors and/or Nominating Committee. The Board and its committees work in partnership with our CEO and executive team to set the direction for our Council. We look for active Board participants with strong commitment to fund development and a variety of experiences, skill sets, and diverse backgrounds. Most importantly we seek individuals who believe in the Girl Scout mission and have a passion for providing the best possible opportunities for girls.
The application deadline for adult positions for the Board of Directors and/or the Nominating Committee is October 15 of each year. This deadline gives the Nominating Committee ample time to review applications and meet with candidates. The application process is closed after that and opens up again after the Annual Meeting each year.
