We are thrilled to announce the launch of our 2025 virtual STEM badge programs for Girls and Girl Scouts, on 2nd Saturdays of each month. Our mission is to empower and educate young girls through fun and interactive activities, Robotics badges (Jan 11, Aug 09), Automotive badges (Feb 08, Sep 13), App building badges (Mar 08, Oct 11), STEAM Career Exploration badges (April 12, Nov 8), & Virtual Drones / AI Programs (May 10, Dec 6).

AR Workshop would like to help you host a “Craft and Tinker Badge” DIY Workshop for Daisy, Brownie, and Junior Girl Scouts, or the “Woodworker Badge” Workshop for Cadettes. Let us do the work and watch the girls have a blast while earning a badge!

My Family Story with the DAR Museum
Girl Scout Level: Brownie
When: August 23, 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM
Where: 1776 D St NW, Washington, DC 20006
Cost: $12.00
Use the DAR Museum collections to explore how family histories are collected and preserved. Share stories about your family with other Brownies and play a game to see how stories change over time. Then, write about your day in a brand-new diary and create a family tree to tell your family story!
This program results in earning the “My Family Story” badge, which is included in the registration price.
$12 per scout. Adults are free of charge. Any additional children or siblings are welcome to attend and participate in the program but must be registered as well, the cost to participate is $5. Those too young to participate are also able to attend but must be supervised.
If the minimum registration of 8 scouts is not met, this program may be cancelled, and payment refunded.

Playing the Past with the DAR Museum
Girl Scout Level: Junior
When: August 23, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Where: 1776 D St NW, Washington, DC 20006
Cost: $12.00
Travel back to 1913 to join the Women’s Suffrage Parade! Create your own “Votes for Women” sash and write a speech advocating for a woman’s right to vote. Learn about some of the heroines of the movement, including women that participated in the parade right here in DC. What would it be like to be a girl at this time? Why is it important that women have the right to vote?
This program results in the “Playing the Past” badge, which is included in the registration price.
