Girls in 5-8th grade will explore exciting topics in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) in a unique, small group setting. Campers will enjoy exclusive use of the spacious rooms, beautiful gardens, porch, swing & a grand piano at the Old Parish House (near Univ. of MD).
Join field trips to the National Cryptological Museum, Google and tour the Univ. of Maryland. Girls will team up to present "What I learned at STEM camp" on Friday afternoon and an ice cream social. Parents and family members invited!

The Young Archaeologists' Club is for middle-school aged youth interested in archaeology. Students will work with professional archaeologists and explore archaeological science through hands-on activities, crafts, and games. Participation is free, but registration is required.

Come visit The White House and President's Park to earn your Flower or Trees badge with the National Park Service! Girl Scouts will learn all about the plants and trees at President's Park while accumulating hours towards earning the Girl Scout Ranger patch. Activities will include measuring and identifying different flowers and trees, filling out interactive worksheets, and learning about the outdoors in a National Park!
Participants will be engaging in activities both indoors and outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather.

A “Best Summer Camp” Finalist with Washington City Paper, Step Afrika!’s week-long summer camp for rising 4th to 12th graders will return to Arena Stage August 4 – 9, 2025.
Led by the multi-talented artists of Step Afrika!, our annual camp combines core Step Afrika! values of teamwork, commitment, discipline, and academic achievement with excellent performance. Immersing students in stepping through the creation of their own Step Show performance, Summer Steps with Step Afrika! is not to be missed!
