SUSC Character - SU 52-7

Service Unit 52-7 serves over 450 youth in the Burke, Virginia. They are committed to service, personal growth, and fun! Troops lead Service Unit events each month to provide engagement opportunities beyond troop meetings for our youth while the host troop develops their leadership skills. SU 52-7 participates in annual events including volunteering at the Burke Centre Festival, racing in a Girl Powered Derby to raise funds for SHARE, Encampment, and roller skating for Girl Scout's birthday.

When asked about something they achieved this year that they are most proud of, SU 52-7 shared:

"Our Service Unit is most proud of our adult volunteers, whose endless dedication and behind-the-scenes leadership kept our most cherished traditions—like Spring Encampment and the Girl Powered Derby—thriving this year. Through hundreds of donated hours, our leaders and parent volunteers created impactful experiences where youth across all levels could grow and thrive together. Our vibrant scouting community exists entirely because of these passionate adults who consistently show up for our Girl Scouts."

Congratulations to the 2026-2027 52-7 Service Unit Team! -
