Matching Gifts
Double your donation.
Explore how your company's programs can turn your donation or your volunteer hours into even more support for our local Girl Scouts.
Double your donation.
Thousands of companies match charitable donations made by their employees, often dollar-for-dollar — and sometimes even more. That means your gift to Girl Scouts Nation's Capital could go twice as far in supporting transformative leadership programs for youth across our region.
Many employers offer matching gifts for contributions made by employees, retirees, and even spouses. Use the search tool below to see if your employer participates and learn how to submit a matching gift request.
Your generosity may already qualify for additional support.
Turn your volunteer hours into funding.
Did you know that many companies donate to nonprofits where their employees volunteer? These programs — often called volunteer grants or Dollars for Doers — allow employers to provide financial support based on the number of hours their employees volunteer.
If you volunteer with Girl Scouts Nation's Capital as a troop leader, event volunteer, mentor, camp supporter, or community partner, your employer may contribute funding to support our programs.
Volunteer grants are a powerful way to multiply the impact of your time and service — helping ensure that even more youth across our region can access leadership, STEM, outdoor, entrepreneurship, and life skills opportunities.
Many employers offer workplace giving through United Way. If you choose this method to support our Council, please let us know so that we can recognize and thank you accordingly!
Our code with United Way of Nation’s Capital is 8107.
CFC Campaign code is 47830.
