Dec. 13, 2026 - Maryland Sled Dog Adventures toggle arrow

Join us on Sunday, December 13, 2026 for an unforgettable hands-on dog sledding program designed specifically for Girl Scouts! Work with other area Girl Scouts to dive into the world of dog sledding and dryland (wheeled) dog sledding. This is the one opportunity for individual Girl Scouts to come out and work with our well-behaved sled dogs. Collaborating with each other, Girl Scouts will learn how to harness a sled dog, how to care for a sled dog, what the sled dogs eat and help feed the dogs, and how the dogs are trained and transported to races and events. Each Girl Scout will also take a short one on one ride with the team.

Cost is $130 per Girl Scout and must be prepaid electronically (non refundable) to reserve your spot. Limited to 20 participants. Cost includes the fun patch and snack. Optional add-ons are the official Brownie Girl Scout or Junior Girl Scout Dog Mushing badges ($4 per badge). Run time will be approximately 3-4 hours with an 8 AM start.

Email Catherine to register or call (443) 562-5736 with questions.
