Once a Girl Scout, Always a Girl Scout!
You know it’s true: Once a Girl Scout, ALWAYS a Girl Scout!
But did you know that there are more than one million people in our region who grew up in Girl Scouting or once volunteered with the Movement, but are no longer connected to us?
These are Girl Scouts who once spent a weekend camping, sold cookies to support a trip or activity, or even led a troop! And while they still love Girl Scouts, they may not know all that Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital offers today.
Please help us welcome them back into our community!
This year only, you can invite your friends back to Girl Scouting through the 1912 Society. This society offers an easy way for people to reconnect with the Movement that provided the memories and skills that have shaped who they are today!
Joining is easy. Invite a friend to make a gift of $19.12 or more to Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital. You will both receive access to all of the benefits of the 1912 Society!
And to make this as easy as possible, we have created a sample email template and a phone script!
With the convention coming to Washington, D.C. this summer, there is no better time to invite others to reconnect with the Girl Scout Movement.
To take full advantage of the 2026 National Girl Scout Convention, please act before July 15!
